Mrs. Madinah Kakar is the visionary entrepreneur and founder of Bost Maiwand Flour Mill Manufacturing Company. With a passion for empowering Afghan women, she established the company in 2022. Mrs. Kakar has a wealth of experience in the milling industry and has successfully led the company to become a dynamic and innovative player in the market.
CEO
Saghar Mohmand is the CEO of Bost Maiwand Flour Mill Manufacturing Company. She completed an Honors Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Toronto. Saghar worked in the telecommunications industry in various management roles bringing cross functional teams together focusing on continuous improvement strategies that helped identify areas of opportunity for improvement and devised projects to implement solutions. She brings exceptional managerial expertise aimed to establish Bost Maiwand as the most efficient mill managed and operated by women. She plays a critical role in overseeing the operations and driving the company's growth. Saghar is an avid women’s right advocate and envisions to empower the Afghan women by creating job opportunities in the workforce ranging from leadership to technical areas and pave the road ahead for women interested in entrepreneurship in the current political climate of Afghanistan.
Vice President
Sayed Jan Sadat, who holds the position of Vice President at Bost Maiwnad Flour Mill Manufacturing Company, is an ardent supporter of farmers, rural communities, and the development of agriculture into a more environmentally friendly industry. Because of his wealth of knowledge, deep-seated devotion to agriculture, and talents as a leader, he has become an indispensable member of our association.
Financial Officer
Presently residing in the Lashkargah district of Helmand province, Abdul Qadir Azad is employed by the Bost Maiwand flour mill production company as the Financial Officer (Accountant). Abdul Qadir Azad completed his secondary education at Helmand Province High School in 2017. Subsequently, in 2021, he obtained a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Agricultural Economics at Helmand University. Skills: Abdul Qadir Azad possesses accounting expertise (preciseness, rapid typing, and proficient use of accounting software) and computer and English proficiency. Previous Employment: For four years, Abdul Qadir Azad held the position of financial superintendent at Bost University's Hospital. Another task One year ago, he began working as an English instructor at the Afghan Turk Educational Center. An accountant by profession at Bost Maiwand Flour Mill at present.
Quality Control Officer
Mohammad Aslam Noori is our dedicated Quality Control Officer, tasked with the important job of monitoring all aspects of product quality. Through his meticulous work, he ensures that every product not only meets but often exceeds the quality expectations, safeguarding our company's reputation and enhancing customer trust.
